Dear Members of the Lubicon Lake Nation:

We take this occasion, the 159th yearly meeting of the Religious
Society of Friends (Quakers) in Canada, to again make public our
support of our Aboriginal brothers and sisters at Lubicon Lake as you
continue your attempts to resolve conflicts and be granted justice in
a society not of your making.  In particular, we recognize your
struggle to obtain just compensation for resources and a life-style,
taken from you without your permission, so that you may establish an
appropriate economic base for a renewed community.  We are pleased to
note your continued use of creative nonviolent techniques.

We ask that you consider us among those who are walking with you on
your journey.
