An Urgent Plea for Support from all British Columbians We, the undersigned, believe every British Columbian has the legal right to naturally clean drinking water. We protest the failure of the BC government to protect this right with adequate laws, while allowing logging companies to continue their unsustainable cut from the slopes of domestic watersheds. Eloise Charet, Jack Ross, Earth, River, and Tom Prior are spending weeks in prison before their trial, and refusing solid food, in an attempt to maintain clean water for future generations. In supporting them we ask every concerned citizen to add his or her voice in insisting that the government immediately initiate steps to correct the intolerable injustices against water users, so that the prisoners can be released.
